The weather is turning, and soon too the leaves
On my run tonight, it was almost chilly enough to wish I had brought my vest or wore a long sleeve shirt. It is almost that time. On Wednesday’s run around Lake Sacajawea, some leaves were already falling, even though not many had changed color. The furnace kicked on for the first time in months, and now I open the shades to welcome the setting sun’s heat instead of sheltering the house from it. We’ll see if the new windows keep us warmer this fall and winter. Now I don’t need to worry about keeping the lawn green. The moss will take care of that.
