So the Kindle 2 was announced this morning, and it turns out the leaked information passed around the internet was spot on. It is slightly more powerful, sleeker, and has a couple new bells and whistles.
As a current Kindle owner, Amazon.com was nice enough to send out an e-mail this morning offering me a spot at the head of the line to upgrade. At full price of course.

I just love the concept of a "slightly more powerful" electronic book! I mean... am I the only one who finds that ironic?
