I called Amy and almost screamed at her "Where are Jenn and Sean, Where are Jenn and Sean?" She was not awake yet (and she thought me a tad insane to be calling with such emotion at 7am) and I told her to turn on the tv, go get your flight itinerary and call me back.
That is one part of that day that I will never forget. Also thanking God when she called me back after hearing you were safe.
Amen to Holly's idea. We need to never forget and to take the day as a somber rememberence each year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1257004845714438957.post-92170997786592789502007-09-11T22:03:00.000-07:002007-09-11T22:03:00.000-07:00i remember very anxiously awaiting the return of o...i remember very anxiously awaiting the return of our Days to Seattle. How good it was to see you guys back home. We heard your story right away, and I've heard it a couple of times since and have even told it, but seeing it written out is really powerful. I really feel like this day should be more like a Memorial Day, where people can respect and observe it, and businesses are closed. The most horrible day on US soil, and it's business as usual. It's not right to me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
